What You Can Expect at Infusion:

You can expect Infusion events to be filled with fun, craziness and friends. Above all else, we exist to worship God and we'l do so through music, studying scripture, hikes, laughter, serious discussions, prayer, and serving each other. Infusion events are emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually safe places where you are free to be yourself. We will live life together and, together, discover what it means to be a Christian in today's culture.

Infusion Core Values

"This is who we are!"

2
1. A student is the best person to lead another student to Christ.
2. Relationships are essential for life-change to occur
3. The Scripture must be taught with relevance ot the students in ways they can practically apply.
4. We believe that parents have the primary responsibility to train and nurture their children. Our role as a youth staff is to support and reinforce the parent's training.
5. The enviornment of any youth gathering will be physically and emotionally safe.
6. Mature students should be serving in ministry.
7. We believe effective youth ministry will happen only through the work of the Holy Spirit through prayer.

Youth Group Guidelines

As one of our core values is to provide a safe and loving environment in youth, here are some guidelines that every student and adult is expected to follow.

  • Confidentiality
    • Youth group discussions are to remain confidential.  Do not share anything heard without permission, even to members of Calvary’s Youth group.  They shared with you, not everyone you know.  Show the same respect you’d expect
  • Speech
    • We are not here to put others down by gossip, sarcasm, negative remarks, or name-calling.  Instead we treat each other with kindness, offering words of encouragement.  Youth Group is to help us better understand ourselves and God, not to criticize others.
    • Allow the person speaking to finish their thought or idea before interjecting your own.  If it’s not beneficial to the topic, please keep your comments for later.  Don’t talk just to talk.
  • Respecting Adult Leaders
    • Adult volunteers are here to support your spiritual journey and safety.  No talking back, interrupting, or disrespecting them.
  • Dress
    • Do not wear any revealing or suggestive clothes, not becoming of a Christian.  No bare back, bare stomach, strapless shirts.  Underwear should be worn under your clothes (not sticking out).  Swimsuits must be modest (2 piece suits are alright if they are modest.  Decision will be made by the youth leaders).
    • No offensive language or images on clothing, including hats, etc.
  • Physicality
    • Keep your hands to yourself.  When we gather as a group, everyone should keep their hands to themselves.  Please be respectful of others.
    • No Public Displays of Affection between couples.
    • No chasing, throwing or body slamming each other, or similar acts.
  • Technology
    • Cell Phones are to be turned off at the door.  There is to be no text messaging, phone calls or any other use of phones at group.  Voicemail may be checked after group is over.
    • There will also be no shooting of aerosoft guns inside the cottage.
    • PS2 may only be played when permission is given by youth leader and cottage appropriate games are being played.
    • Any other technological devices (MP3 players, etc.), are to be turned off at the door.

Violation of any of these guidelines jeopardizes the integrity of the group will require consequences to be given.  The consequences will be decided upon by a panel of the youth leaders.
