The Quest for Authentic Manhood ...
is more than just a study title. It describes the very
hopes -- and challenges -- we have as Christian men. In it, the first
of the Men's Fraternity curriculum series, author Robert Lewis tells
the story of going mountain climbing with his son. As they edged
higher, they came to a narrow ledge. There, high above the rocks below,
Lewis came to a very real and immediate understanding of how foolish it
would be to cut the rope that bound him to his son and their guide. How
hopeless it would be for him to try to do it alone.
Men Need Each Other ...
today, more than ever, we need to be connected to other
men who can help us become all that God intends us to be. We need to be
challenged ... to be encouraged ... and held accountable. That is the
promise of Men's Fraternity, a proven ministry that's sweeping the
country. And now it's coming to Calvary Baptist Church, Wickenburg.
The True Power ...
of Men's Fraternity lies in bringing men together to
learn and listen to each other. There are no gimmicks -- just an
informal 45-minute teaching period followed by 20-30 minutes for men to
gather in smaller groups to talk about what they've heard, how it
applies to their everyday problems, and offer their mutual support.
That's important. And the impact can be felt not just in our lives --
but also in our families ... in the workplace ... and even the
church.
Join the Fraternity ...
Men's Fraternity is about you. Discovering your
strengths and weaknesses, strengthening your relationships, and making

together, and with God's help -- we can overcome them. Are you
ready to start a new chapter in your life? Pledge to join us as we
start this exciting new manhood study and discover the adventure God
intends for you
"...if
you're going to be the kind of man that you're supposed to be, you have
to be connected with other men who can speak into your life, who can
call out the best in you, who can cheer for your success, admire your
efforts, and be your friend." --Robert Lewis
